Shah Faisal Mosque is the fourth largest in the world and is built near the Margalla Hills, which also defines its beauty. The mosque’s design is inspired by the cubic Kaaba in Makkah and a Bedouin tent.

It is the most holiest sites in Islam, the mosque was built by Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) himself. It comprises of 10 large minarets and can hosts at least 600,000 worshipers.

This masjid was constructed in the 17th century in the time of Mughal King Shahabuddin Muhammad Shahjahan. It is made of cut and dressed bricks laid in kankar lime, with some red sandstone in the gate. It is decorated with fresco paintings and tiles with cobalt, cerulean blue, green, orange, yellow, and purple as its predominant colors.

Jama Masjid has a striking presence as it is made of red sandstone and its marble is made of interior. It has three large domes and two minarets.
